One Church Working Together

Kickstart Saturday 14th January 2012 9am to 12.30pm
We’re expecting it to be a day filled with the presence of God, laughter, coffee & pastries!
Who is it for?
For absolutely anyone who is involved in working with young people in any way. It will be suitable for youth workers, schools workers, volunteers and salaried workers.
Why should I come?
This event is for you if:
- you want to be refreshed and reflect on what you do
- you'd like to meet other local people working with young people
- you want to be inspired and enthused for 2012
Theme
- The day will start with a hot breakfast and a chance to meet each other and chat.
- After breakfast we’ll spend some time in worship before hearing for the first time from our guest speaker Dave Steell (pastor of One Church in Brighton) who will help us consider our theme of No Turning Back.
- Following this we will have a chance to hear some stories from across the city, about what God is doing.
- Dave will then share with us again before we have a time to respond, pray together and worship.
Practical stuff
- Cost: £6 (£3.50 for students) or £5 (£2.50 for students) if you book by 12.12.11
- Starbucks coffee / tea / pastries and a hot breakfast are all included in the cost of your day.
